Hello, fellow bloggers, my name is Brendan Bird, and I am from Canton, Michigan. However, I go to school at Henderson State University in Arkansas where I am a redshirt freshman baseball player. Many have asked me why I went so far away to go to school, and my answer always is, we play ball in January and February. At that time in Michigan the past few years it has been in the negative degrees. Being a catcher it sucks catching in the cold, so I am euphoric about coming down here to play. Besides baseball I like to snowboard, wakeboard, skim board, play paintball, and soccer. However, snowboarding has got to be the most relaxing and enjoyable activity I have done. I have been snowboarding since I was six, so I’m pretty good at it. The reason I have stuck with it so long is because there is no better feeling than jamming out snowboarding on just fallen snow. Currently, I am en route to getting my BSE in History. The reason I chose this path for my life is I would like to be a baseball coach when I am older and history has always really intrigued me. Throughout my life, I have had fascinating and comical history teachers, I have always got along with most of these teachers. In this blog, I will be discussing everything daily baseball and interesting things I learned about current major league events such as this one
This is a picture depicting the animal of a left fielder for the Cubs who’s crushing the ball in the post season. Also, when Jose Bautista sent the Rangers home from the postseason with a 480 feet homerun had the biggest bat flip of all time which the Rangers didn’t appreciate. What do you think about Joey Bat's batflip?
I think that bat flip is crazy! Loved reading your intro. I also played baseball many years ago. I was drafted out of high school by San Francisco. You made a good choice coming south to play. Good luck this season! Hope to get to see you play some. Look forward to following your blog.
