Pinterst is an interesting website. I didn't use it until this project but it can be very helpful for holding on to good websites or images. I believe it could be very helpful to getting new information to my students, I can save it at home then log on at school and show them. Also, as I did in this project I can post good sites to get information on a project or paper. There also are many lesson plans or assignments that are shared on Pinterest. It has an interesting way if organizing the information by basically just throwing all the topics in a big clutter which makes it hard to work your way around the website but it just makes the cover pictures important to attract attention.
First, draw the 3 circles.
Second, label them in any way you see fit
Third, I like to start off with similarities, it makes it easier.
Fourth, fill in the 3 differences for each
Finally, Add your pictures
This is the Project details and Rubric

2.0 tools
My Juggad is a website where you can make slideshows from web pages. All anyone has to do to obtain this is register with the website online. I feel this would be a good tool to look at instead of PowerPoint. This could save my students money because it is free and online. I believe where ever you can save money for yourself, or your students are good.

Animoto is a video producer that takes a lot of the hard work out of your hands. All you have to do is pick a style, a song, and add pictures or videos and it will combine it with a video for you for free. This would be useful in the classroom if I made them do a video presentation of a historic event. It would cut down the needed class time and increase the amount of material they can put on the slide. This will give us better video slides in less class time so we can move on to the next topic quicker

This is because I believe it is just a neat idea, this website lets you send e-mail that after the person is done reading it, the message self-destructs. The e-mail can also be password protected. If you were sending a teacher to teacher information that cannot be seen by students, this would be a good way to do it. One example would be sending tests answers or possible future tests. Possibly if there were a lock-down, it would be a good way to alert the teachers without alarming the students.

This website is an extensive search engine help for research purposes. This site goes from news, videos, blogs, and more. This would help my students find more specific things to look for about the topic given to them. This will narrow their search possibilities and make for more in-depth research. If I assign a research paper the more in depth, a person goes I feel, the more likely I will be to give them a good grade

Audacity is a voice recording application that allows you to not only record your voice and save it for putting it on other projects. But it can also translate your voice into different languages, all you have to do is download it. This would be helpful if I had my students make a video; this is an easy way to add audio to it. Whether it be a video presentation or a PowerPoint that they submit to me online. It may serve multiple purposes on a variety of topics

Flickr is a photo sharing website that also have good photo editing settings. Also, you can create groups to share your pictures with. I would use this website too if I have the students go see a school play or football game for extra credit. They would take a selfie of them at the football game then post their selfies on Flickr. This would be an easy way to have all of their pictures at one spot.

Comic Master is a fascinating website that helps you make comics. It has preset characters that you can put on a made comic strip and add word bubbles and print it out on one page. If I ask my students to make a comic of world war two propaganda. This would be a good place to put ideas down or to make the full comic. Also, I believe the layout is good and makes for easy use of most high school kids.

Quiz revolution is a potentially very useful website to teachers especially because it is free. It is a website that will help you make quizzes or surveys with its easy to use templates. I would use this as a base for making my tests and quizzes. It sounds like good easy application to work with and will help organize my tests and make them professional. I am glad to have found this website because tests are now a significant concern in my mind, and this website makes me more confident moving forward.

A claymation is a bunch of very quick video shots where the filmed pieces are moved very slightly, so it gives the appearance of a full through video. Clay animator helps with this process by giving them instructions on how to go about making a claymation. I would use this to have my students better understand important battles throughout time. Each group would make a claymation of the battle, and we would show them all in class. Therefore, each student is learning about each war, and they have in-depth knowledge about their war they researched.

This website helps create brainstorming bubbles that help get your ideas downs. This website also has the capability to save and print off your bubbles to take anywhere. If I were to assign a research paper on WW2 leaders, I would have my students start on this website. It's, and easy way to have all your ideas in one spot, to get them down quickly, and this website helps it look better. This will help me be able to read the kids handwriting because it's typed and helps my students read their handwriting later.

Social Networking
Both of these sites talk about the positives and negatives of social media. All of the doctors are worried that the fast communication of social media will make us as people’s attention span shrink and could lead to increase in ADD in our population. I doubt this seriously because I think it will increase boredom in people because they are used to a constant stream of information and when not continually intrigued. This is why the older generation thinks we are addicted to our phones because when they are talking about things we already know we will get bored and check our phone or text our friends. I think one thing all of us will agree upon is that studying and social networking do not mix at all. It is common knowledge that if you get on the social network when you try to study most students will end up spending all their time “studying” scrolling through the varies news feeds. Attempting to understand this issue is a big problem for new college students. That is why they preach time management as soon as we got to Henderson State. However, as stated in these sites, social networking can have a big positive in kid’s lives. It can help the quiet kids have a voice and have it be acknowledged which will help them come out of their shell. This is assuming that they have a good social networking experience and not get bullied online which is a big problem nowadays. There are plenty of good people online who will boost their self-confidence, but all it takes is one bad apple to ruin all the good comments that the other good people left. The primary consensus over these articles is using social networks aren’t bad as long as you aren’t dependent on them.

Introduction
Hello, fellow bloggers, my name is Brendan Bird, and I am from Canton, Michigan. However, I go to school at Henderson State University in Arkansas where I am a redshirt freshman baseball player. Many have asked me why I went so far away to go to school, and my answer always is, we play ball in January and February. At that time in Michigan the past few years it has been in the negative degrees. Being a catcher it sucks catching in the cold, so I am euphoric about coming down here to play. Besides baseball I like to snowboard, wakeboard, skim board, play paintball, and soccer. However, snowboarding has got to be the most relaxing and enjoyable activity I have done. I have been snowboarding since I was six, so I’m pretty good at it. The reason I have stuck with it so long is because there is no better feeling than jamming out snowboarding on just fallen snow. Currently, I am en route to getting my BSE in History. The reason I chose this path for my life is I would like to be a baseball coach when I am older and history has always really intrigued me. Throughout my life, I have had fascinating and comical history teachers, I have always got along with most of these teachers. In this blog, I will be discussing everything daily baseball and interesting things I learned about current major league events such as this one
This is a picture depicting the animal of a left fielder for the Cubs who’s crushing the ball in the post season. Also, when Jose Bautista sent the Rangers home from the postseason with a 480 feet homerun had the biggest bat flip of all time which the Rangers didn’t appreciate. What do you think about Joey Bat's batflip?
